The wedding of Karolína and Kamil was a big challenge and an incredible experience for us. They are both deaf, as are their families and most of their friends. But we’ve found that there is a truth in that we can understand each other even without words. The warm welcome Karolina, Kamil and their families gave us and the great atmosphere of that big day made us soon feel more like a longtime friends than just photographers. Count in a perfect venue of old barn surrounded by meadow, pond and a cosy picnic area, super tastysweets, beautiful styling and stunning florals, and you will end up with this epic wedding. Oh, and did we mentioned that ultra cool Cadillac and retro bus?

Vše začalo jednou esejí na angličtinu, která se měla odevzdat do 17.00…
Jirka a Marjorie se poprvé potkali během jejich prvního roku studia na Harvardu. Navzdory tomu, že byli na angličtinu v rozdílných třídách s různými profesory, oba museli osobně odevzdat vytištěnou verzi jejich eseje 5. října 2009 do 17.00 v téže budově. Několik minut před uplynutím této lhůty byli jedinými studenty, kteří vešli do budovy. Když Jirka vkládal svoji esej do kastlíku se jménem jeho profesorky, Marjorie si všimla, že ta esej není sešitá.
„Hej, nechceš to secvaknout?“
„Jasně! Nevíš, kde bych našel sešívačku?“
A od té doby už byli jenom spolu.

Ona je z Číny, on z Česka a jejich cesty se spojily v Austrálii. Seznamte se s Chen a Filipem, párem sympaťáků se zálibou v čaji a cestování, kteří se rozhodli pozvat své rodiny a přátelé z celého světa do Brna. Aby vyslechli, jak si řeknou své ano. : ) S oběma jsme se setkali pár dnů před svatbou na zásnubním focení, abychom si vyzkoušeli, jak nám to bude klapat. My musíme říci, že to byla paráda!
